Toomey: Court decision was the ‘right outcome’

SUNBURY — The court Monday extended religious rights to companies like Hobby Lobby and Conestoga Wood, and one of PA’s U.S. Senators says it was the right move.  U.S. Senator Pat Toomey (R-Pa) says it is a step in the right direction.   “I’m very pleased with the outcome,” Toomey said.   “The decision was quite narrow and not nearly the sweeping thing that some on the left had suggested.  It does hold that a closely owned company — basically a family owned business — can in fact observe their religious beliefs.”   Toomey says while it was a very narrow decision, it was the right decision.  “Their decision to implement Obamacare with this mandate that...
